We offer FREE residential delivery within the 48 contiguous United States. At this time, we do not offer shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. Addresses must be a physical address - no PO Box addresses. Some exceptions do apply to our free delivery, such as remote, far-away locations, or to other difficult to reach locations such as islands. If you feel you may be located in one of these areas, please contact us first to see if you may incur any additional charges for delivery.
This item will be shipped from our warehouse within 1 to 3 business days. Please allow an additional 3 to 6 business days for transit time. Please keep this in mind when placing your order. Items will be shipped either by Ground (USPS, FedEx, or UPS) or via LTL (Less than Truckload) for larger items. Holidays and weekends are not considered business days. We work as quickly as possible to ship out your items in a timely basis so we appreciate your patience and understanding.
Please note that LTL Freight deliveries (larger items) are CURBSIDE only (self service delivery where you assist getting the product inside your home from the back of the truck), but additional services, such as liftgate and threshold delivery, may be available if you contact us first before shipping to make these arrangements.
A liftgate is a mechanical platform that lowers your pallet of furniture from the back of the truck to the ground and threshold service involves the carrier bringing your merchandise just inside your front door or inside your garage. We typically bundle these into one cost, so if you are interested in this service, you must contact us FIRST, BEFORE the item has shipped to make arrangements. Our carriers will be unable to move your items into your room of choice due to liability issues. Our freight carriers are not a full-service, furniture delivery operation, and cannot set up your items or remove package debris. If you would like us to arrrange installation and setup with the delivery, please ocntact us before p;lacing your order and we will let you know the costs associated with white glove service in your area.
CONDITION / REPLACEMENT
All of our products are guaranteed new in original condition upon arrival. This warranty covers against defects unrelated to shipping / handling damage. We can provide replacements of defective or damaged parts in most cases if reported within 3 days of receiving the item. If you are missing parts in your order, please let us know within the 3 days of the receipt date, and we will provide replacement parts for you, free of charge.
We strongly encourage you to inspect the contents of your item(s) upon delivery, and if you find damage to any boxes, please mark the delivery receipt "DAMAGED" with a quick description of the damage you're noting. The driver must receive a copy of the bill of landing (delivery receipt) with the damage noted. This is the only way we can assist you in making a claim against a carrier for damage. Damage uncovered after the driver has left will be assumed to have occurred after delivery. You need only refuse those items that show damage and you may retain the rest of the item(s) as we work to get a replacement sent out to you.
In many cases, we are able to send out replacement parts or boxes to resolve any issues that occur with your order. If FDE determines a part or replacement will fix any issue that arises, and customer still requests to return the item, the order will be treated as a normal return request and customer will be subject to a 10% restocking fee in addition to all shipping charges incurred.
DAMAGES / ISSUES
Although highly unlikely, we recognize items do occasionally get damaged during transport. Our staff is well trained to offer assistance in the event of damages or other issues relating to your order. It is normal for packages to show wear and tear, but it is not normal for there to be large holes or pieces falling out! Damages, missing parts, or discrepancies must be reported within 3 days from the date that the item was received.
Damages and other issues must be documented by email, since a written record is required. In addition, photographic proof is required for any concealed damages that were not specified to the shipper upon receipt of the item. In the event concealed damage is discovered, please contact us and we may be able to replace the part(s) for you or provide a partial refund.
